TRIPLE DISTILLED VODKA FROM PURE APPLE CIDER

We start our vodka by pressing fresh apples grown on our farm into sweet apple cider. We let yeast ferment the sweet apple cider into alcoholic hard cider.

We then distill the hard cider 100 gallons per 2 hour batch. After days of distilling cider into alcohol, we must refine the crude alcohol futher by filtering and redistilling.

Each time the alcohol is redistilled or filtered, it improved in quality and the apple flavor is deminished to just a pleasant note.

After the third distillation, the resulting "hearts" reach 95% pure alcohol. We carefully dilute it to 40% with filtered water. The result is a rare vodka with an incredible flavor profile.

 

 

 

 

WHY VODKA FROM APPLES?

We are farmers, combining a long tradition of growing apples with a rum and whiskey making heritage of the pre-prohibition era.

Apples are one of the most noble and universal fruits. It's the fruit of knowledge and cider was once the most popular drink in America.

We chose to use home-grown apples for our vodka because we happen to grow a lot of them. Almost too many. And what greater value can you place on apples than when used to make what the French call Eau de Vie, or "Water of Life"? Pruducing vodka is the purest expression of distilling mastery.

From vodka, we plan on creating a wide array of apple-based spirits, including infusions, gin, schnapps and brandy.
